Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Bruschetta, Don’t let the simple sounding name of this brushetta fool you, it tastes fantastic and looks gourmet I made this for cChristmas eve last year for appetiziers It was such a huge hit, I’m making it again this year I did a little tweaking on the recipe but, I’m doubling this recipe for Christmas this year , WOW! Thank you so much for such a great recipe, delish #2! Instead of using only 1/2 loaf of french bread, we used two very thin loaves of soft sesame French bread and cut sub-style, using the larger pieces instead of cutting the traditional way Also, we used a whole pound of bacon (we LOVE bacon! 🙂 and just upped all the other ingredients a tad I don’t think used a whole third cup of olive oil either, more like 2 tablespoons was enough for a light brusing on all Again, thanks for such a delicious and semi-healthy meal that the whole family loved!
