Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers

    Cuisine:

As has been said before, I should have pre-cooked the bacon a bit before making these. Overall, they were terrific, but the bacon fat never really crisped up, which made them less great. Good flavor, and will totally try again.

Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers, These bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers are UNBELIEVABLY good! You’ll love them!, As has been said before, I should have pre-cooked the bacon a bit before making these. Overall, they were terrific, but the bacon fat never really crisped up, which made them less great. Good flavor, and will totally try again., I always make these and everyone loves them. I have NEVER had any left. My great suggestion is using thin bacon , let it com to room temp and use a whole slice to wrap each jalapeno half. At room temp the bacon will stretch and you can wrap it so well that when it cooks and shrinks, it will wrap the jalapeno tighter and hold in the cheese perfect. i have some in the oven right now for a Vikings party.

I Always Freeze Them After They Are Made For About 20 Minutes to a Hour Before Putting Them in the Oven or on the Grill . Doing This Will Keep the Cheese from Melting Out as Much .
