    I love this recipe because it's easy to make, doesn't take a lot of prep time, and tastes great! To make it more healthy I did not use butter, but instead put some lite syrup (just enough to cover the bottom of the pan) on the bottom of my 9 X 13 glass pan after spraying it with pam. used 1/2 cup of white and 1/2 cup of wheat flour, and then added about 1 cup of 1% cottage cheese along with 1 cup of Chobani low fat vanilla yogurt and 2 tsp. of vanilla. used red delicious apples because that's all I had, and cut the sugar to1 tsp. My goal was to add more protein. It turned out great! I also added 2 tsp of vanilla to the batter, and a pinch of nutmeg to the apples.

You can top this dish with vanilla whipped cream instead of the maple syrup…or use both!,I love this recipe because it’s easy to make, doesn’t take a lot of prep time, and tastes great!     Preheat Oven to 375 Degreed F.

    Melt Butter in an 8 Inch Oven Proof Skillet or Casserole.

    Saute Apples in the Butter.

    Sprinkle With Sugar and Cinnamon, Cooking Until the Sugar Is Melted and the Apples Have Begun to Soften.
