Baked Oatmeal

Features:
    Cuisine:

Great recipe. I was looking for a softer baked texture, as working on one my mom would like more then the traditional "cookie" bar type of baked oatmeal. She would like a softer one, as she likes lots of milk on her oatmeal anyway. I actually put this together and it sat before baking so it did hold up in squares more then what picture shows. used all boiling water and no milk. used one pink lady apple that was on hand, and just 1/8 cup raisins to give this a try. Plenty of fruit in this. Used Monk fruit no calorie sweetener. Will try other combinations of additions like I do with any oatmeal recipe. Coco powder, peanut butter powder, even grated zucchini and or carrot etc etc. Like the idea of rhubarb a lot that someone gave. I think any number of combinations would work. Good make ahead recipe for an individual to heat up portions as wanted.
