Directions
Banana Oatmeal Bars,These can be eaten for breakfast or anytime. Kids will eat them before the realize how much oatmeal they contain.,FOUR hundred twenty-five degrees??? Is that correct? Most cookie/bar recipes go no higher than 350.,This is a big hit in our house! use 4 large bananas, 1 cup flour, 2 cups oats, replaced the butter and egg with 1 cup unsweetened applesauce, skipped the sugar completely, and doubled the spices- in other words, no fat, no processed sugar, just fruit and oaty goodness. Both the 10 y/o and the two grandbabies 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 think they are wonderful for both breakfast and snacks. A definite keeper.
