Basic Creamy Cheese Sauce,This is a basic cheese sauce that you can spruce up with any herbs or spices you may like. I like this sauce with baked potatoes.,What does “Add flour and stir until well mixed and bubbly being careful not to scorch” mean? The way I was taught is 3 to 4 minutes not-“mixed and bubbly”. You fry up the flour until it bubbles slightly. Anything more and you are making a brown gravy for roast beef. “Remove from heat and add milk” do you wait for 2 minutes or 5 minutes before the milk is added?,Really quick and easy to make. It was really good over pasta. I added an extra tbs of butter to try to thin it out a bit. Also added chucks of ham and spinach. Will definitely make this again!
