Bauernfrhstck,A traditional German breakfast – this has been eaten for breakfast in my family for many years. Feel free to add in whatever leftover veggies or meat you have sitting in your fridge! A very versatile recipe.,I made this like a frittata, only on the stove top. With a help of a lid and flipping it after 5 minutes on medium low heat. I did not use the cheese at the end. Made for Fall PAC 2012,Loved this!! I took Elaineann’s advice, and microwaved my potatoes. This is DELICIOUS. My DD looked the word up and it means “country breakfast” in German. It is truly a comforting “country” way to start the day. made for Spring PAC,2011.
