Bed and Breakfast Buckwheat Waffles, I purchased some buckwheat out of curiosity, and then realized I had no recipes, so the hunt began and this is by far my favorite use for buckwheat! Very light , These are absolutely wonderful Super light & tasty They were loved by a picky 92-year old & his even pickier 9-year old granddaughter I halved the recipe, and it was perfect for four people , This is what I was looking for I made a half recipe and got 6 1/2 waffles The recipe uses a lot of butter, more then I want to use so the only thing I did different was to omit the butter and sub a tablespoon of walnut oil (that’s for a half recipe) They came out light, fluffy and tender Very nice flavor too 100% buckwheat makes a very dry waffle so I highly recommend this recipe
