Beef Barley Skillet, One dish meal, This is exactly the same recipe that I have used for years from “More With Less” cookbook by Doris Janzen Longacre, c 1976, 2000. I am glad to find it here but think credit should be given to this marvelous cookbook., This is one of my favourite go to recipes. I replaced the water with beef broth to give it a little more flavour. It’s one of those recipes that always seems to turn out, easy to make but it looks like you slaved in the kitchen.
