Beef Stew Seasoning Mix, Posted for safe keeping From budget101 com, Can use cornstarch instead of flour ?, Tried this as I too am tired of paying too much for prepackaged mixes The recipe is great, but like so many have said the amount of pepper is EXCESSIVE I even cut it down by a tablespoon and eliminated the cayenne after reading what others had said and it still is too spicy I added a lot more water hoping to dilute the burn, but was only mildly successful Take what others like myself have said about limiting the pepper as it is real I found other pins for beef stew seasoning that were almost identical and called for much less salt and pepper I will use one of these next time
