Beef Stew Seasoning Mix,Posted for safe keeping. From budget101.com,Can use cornstarch instead of flour ?,Tried this as I too am tired of paying too much for prepackaged mixes. The recipe is great, but like so many have said…….the amount of pepper is EXCESSIVE. I even cut it down by a tablespoon and eliminated the cayenne after reading what others had said and it still is too spicy. I added a lot more water hoping to dilute the burn, but was only mildly successful. Take what others like myself have said about limiting the pepper as it is real. I found other pins for beef stew seasoning that were almost identical and called for much less salt and pepper. I will use one of these next time.
