Beer Battered Fish, This is a great beer batter fish recipe, and is very easy to do. We often fish all day with friends, and then cook the fish afterwards out on deck. Yummy and great!, This is my new favorite recipe! I just buy the Cod filets and slice them in half long ways, and my family goes crazy for this! I have also used Shore Lunch breading for years, which is almost exactly the same if anyone needs a short cut, but I’ve been following the recipe and loving it! Anyone leaving a negative review either didn’t dry their fish, didn’t have their oil hot, or plain can’t cook, because its super easy, and better or equal to the best you’ll find in a restaurant! A nice restaurant! And the Tartar Sauce! Oh mylanta, you have to try it!! I cut the pickles way back, but its Absolutely Phenomenal!! :, Absolutely delicious. I can’t BELIEVE the number of adults in this review section that are blaming the recipe for their inability to read and follow simple instructions… 1. If you want the batter to stick to your fish, make sure you dry your fish VERY well so that the batter has something to hold on to. 2. If you don’t want your batter to be too thin, mix in your beer A LITTLE AT A TIME. You probably won’t need the whole beer to get your batter to the pancake batter consistency that you’re aiming for. 3. And finally, if you want crispy and not soggy fish, make sure your oil is HOT enough before you put your fish in. Also, try this Tartar Sauce Recipe: I’ve never liked Tartar sauce, but this sauce paired with these fish!? I would totally pay for the pair at a restaurant. SO GOOD!
