Beer Battered Oven Fried Fish,From Cooking Light.,This was a reaaally good recipe! used herbed breadcrumbs too.,Very good recipe. It lacks the fluffiness of a deep fry – that ‘cost’ a star. To make a crisper batter, I exchanged 1/4 of the flour with humus [chickpea] flour. For flavour, I added soup powder to the batter and exchanged sweet paprika powder for parsley in the bread crumbs. It baked nice and crispy – I did flop the fish after 10 minutes, however, that may not be needed.
