Belgian Waffles Texas Style, The State Fair of Texas serves Belian Waffles topped with powdered sugar and fresh sliced strawberries They are out of this world and have been a State Fair tradition for years This is my version of those wonderful waffles , Don’t know what makes this Texas style, but they are certainly great They are nice and thick and light and fluffy on the inside and brown and crisp on the outside I did not find them difficult or use to many pans, and even if they did the end result makes them worth the effort I made just as directed, which made a LOT, but froze the extras for another day Served with raspberries and whip cream, a very special breakfast
