Big Daddy’s Lemon Pepper Orzo, I got this from the Food Network:Big Daddy’s House:Catch of the Day with Aaron McCarty. This gets nice and creamy like risotto! I tweaked it just a little., This is a lot like a risotto… nice & creamy. I followed it as is & loved the lemon flavor. Some might find it to be too strong, but I liked it. As far as the pepper flavor… I am pretty sensitive to spicy flavors so I found it to be too strong… I wish I would have used less pepper but it wasn’t too bad. I just really don’t like spicy & it was just a tad too much for me. But overall, I did like it, I thought the flavors were good & it was easy to make & a side dish that could accompany many dishes., Brilliant! This is a wonderful side dish for grilled chicken, fish and would work well with picatta. used fat free half and half and only 1/2 the lemon and pepper called for. It was delicious!

In a Medium Saute Pan, Bring the Stock to a Boil. |

Add the Orzo and Cook For 7 to 8 Minutes Until Liquid Is Almost Absorbed and Orzo Is Tender. Turn Off Heat. |
