Bisquick Chocolate Chip Scones

Features:
    Cuisine:

This was a great recipe! A few notes: I didn't have to add any extra cream to the mix because I figured scone dough should not be wet or sticky. Also, I did end up cutting them individually instead of scoring them. used normal chocolate chips instead of minis because I had those on hand. Finally I didn't have enough dough to split in two as the recipe suggests. I just made 8 scones out of the single dough round. I appreciate how quick and easy this was to do and I will definitely be making these in the future:-) I will post a pic soon.

Bisquick Chocolate Chip Scones, I found this recipe in a newspaper I think, it was for chocolate chip Bisquick scones My family likes something sweet on Saturday mornings so I whip up a batch of these By the time the coffee is done so are these yummy chocolaty treats , This was a great recipe! A few notes: I didn’t have to add any extra cream to the mix because I figured scone dough should not be wet or sticky Also, I did end up cutting them individually instead of scoring them used normal chocolate chips instead of minis because I had those on hand Finally I didn’t have enough dough to split in two as the recipe suggests I just made 8 scones out of the single dough round I appreciate how quick and easy this was to do and I will definitely be making these in the future:-) I will post a pic soon , Wonderful and quick! No mini chips for me so used a like amount of chopped raisins, lemon zest and orange extract (out of lemon) The kiddos were clamoring for these as they came out of the oven Loved them once they were cool Hubby too Mine also needed longer in the oven: a total of 14 or 15 minutes Might not be a traditional scone but a tasty treat just the same Now I’m in the mood for tea!
