    Braised Green Beans, Sauteed onion, a touch of rosemary and bits of imported black olives add a French countryside flavor., outstanding way to cook fresh green beans. Will be making this again., I followed the recipe exactly as written except I doubled the olives. By accident. It was an absolutely superb dish and I don’t think I’ll be tempted to cut back on the olives next time around. Also, I caramelized the onions as I am wont to do. I suspect that is unnecessary for this dish. Thanks, Lorac. Excellent dish.

    In a Heavy Saucepan, Cook Onion in Butter Over Medium Low Heat Until Golden Add Beans, Rosemary and Broth.

    Cover Aand Cook Over Medium Heat Until Beans Are Tender.

    Remove Cover, Add Olives and Cook Until Liquid Is Gone.

    Done

    Season and Serve.
