Bread Pudding in the Microwave,I have no idea where I got this recipe, but it is handwritten in a small book where I saved recipes back in the mid-80s. I haven’t made this in ages, but I do recall used to make it a lot. I think I will make it again today! 🙂 Ordinary sandwich bread works fine, or use a spiffier bread to make a spiffier pudding. Serve with a vanilla custard sauce, whipped cream, or even ice cream.,This is a five star as it is. I start with a layer of 1/2 the bread, a layer sliced apples, a layer of the remaining bread and a handful of raisins on top. I mix the remaining ingredients and I add !/2 tsp nutmeg, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1 tsp vanilla.. I pour it over the bread andl pat the bread down lightly to get the mixture into the bread. My wife loves it more than I do because she doesn’t have to cook it.,I want to print this recipe but there is no print option.
