We skipped butter and sliced up a whole pineapple, broiled for about 9 minutes, rotating the pan every few min. Topped with whipped cream and the kids and man-child loved it!,I saw this recipe in one of my gooseberry patch cookbooks, only it didn’t include butter. I broiled them with just cinnamon and a little brown sugar — no butter needed ;). These are DELISH and a great way to get in a serving of fruit. My little 17 month old thought they were amazing. 🙂 Thanks for posting the recipe!
