3/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans

    This recipe is identical to the one I have been making since the 1980s (found it in Bon Apptit and still have the recipe cut out in my cookbook!). It is delicious and always a hit. Quite rich so I always cut small squares). I like to use pecan halves and arrange them nicely on the top. Time consuming but looks nice!

    Combine 1 1/4 Cups Flour and 1/3 Cup Sugar in a Medium Bowl; Cut in 1/2 Cup Butter With a Pastry Blender Until Mixture Resembles Coarse Meal.

    Bake at 375 Degrees For 15 Minutes.
