Buttermilk & Honey Bread,two loaves for 6 1/2 cups of flour??? I have a wheat recipe that use just over 6 cups of dry flours and I make 4 loaves… ??? I would have it up to 400 then turn it down after about 5 minutes when it comes to peak height, then cook. From the top of your bread, the heat looks a little off. Would be much better with an oversized one loaf pan. I would put this in at least 3 loaf pans and add a little bit more yeast…With buttermilk, you don’t need the second rise,I’m new at baking yeast bread. So far so good! I gave this recipe 5 stars even though it’s in the oven now. It will be totally yummy. It went through the rises just fine. I kneaded by hand which was a great experience. Didn’t have to use all the flour that the recipe called for. I’m still working on knowing the dough texture. Thanks for the great recipe!
