Butternut Squash Fries,5oz.fries= 65 calories, 0g fat, 6mg sodium, 16.5 carbs, 4g fiber, 3g sugar, 1.5g protein,Delicious, although not as crisp as I’d like. Will definitely try it again. PEELING A RAW BUTTERNUT SQUASH IS EASY IF YOU MICROWAVE IT FOR 3 MINUTES FIRST.,First, a few amendments I made to the recipe… I brushed the fries with olive oil before baking. I also sprinkled cinnamon, paprika, and kosher salt over them before putting them in the oven. The result was amazing! They were crunchy yet soft and tasted great. I have a nine year old who hates sweet potato fries, but adored these. Granted he really likes butternut squash, but usually only with butter and brown sugar. He asked if we could make these again this weekend he liked them so much!
