C O M F Y Casserole, I had some leftovers, and I wanted to do something with them besides reheat them and serve them the same old way So, this is what I came up with By the way, C O M F Y stands for, C leaned O ut M y F ridge, Y es ! Casserole The amounts of the vegetables are what I had on hand, you can change the amounts to suit your tastes And don’t blame me for the name my SO came up with it, 🙂 Submitted to ZAAR on May 13th, 2008, This is REALLY good – used a HUGE hodge podge of stuff from my fridge with different amounts of everything – but the ingredients were green peas, broccoli, Brussels sprouts (I cut them up for this recipe) carrots, a little bit of leftover cauliflower & cheese – and I tossed in two cans of drained tuna followed your recipe the rest of the way from the mac & cheese on down and it was absolutely DELICIOUS – served it with a tomato cucumber onion salad and fresh buttermilk biscuits & warm honey – EVERYONE wanted seconds and not one single bite was left – to me that’s a sign of an AWESOME COMFY!!! Thanks SO MUCH for posting this!!!!, used fresh cut green beans instead of broccoli This was good and consumed without a problem by both my kids Thank you for the recipe
