Cabbage Apple Cinnamon Casserole (Vegetarian Too!), Thought cabbage was a bit boring, TRUE! Even if people don’t like cabbage, they’ll like this too! LOVE combination, healthy too! HOPE you’ll try let me know what you think, TRUE!, Mickey, after having seen Deb’s wonderful photo and reading the recipe, I made this tonight It went with chicken kebabs in a lemon-pepper sauce, and I also wrapped the the kebabs in bacon We had peas with it, and 2-minute noodles for my DH!! I wasn’t having any extra carbs!! My photo does not even pretend to be good — PLEASE make Deb’s photo the default — I thought that was a classically good photo! I had to use the artificial kitchen lights I had to cut your recipe in half (we’re only two!!) I also did not peel the sweet apple, and merely cut it into thin slices I followed your instructions otherwise It was a fantastic side dish, nicely sweet — I probably also added more cinnamon than the recipe states — love it!! A fantastic side dish which will be made often in my kitchen! And keep in mind — I am mildly diabetic — but this is right up my street Great recipe, thanks, Mickey!!
