Cajun Beef and Cabbage Casserole, This pleasing recipe was given to me many years ago by a very dear friend I’ve made some changes in the ingredients, but the snappy Cajun flavor is still there , I increased the beef to 1 1/2 Lb Used a medium head of Cabbage Used 1 Cup of Rice and added 1 link of fresh Andouille Sausage to the Beef Did not use any Oil to fry The G Beef had enough fat for that Since its supposed to be Cajun I added 1/4 Tsp Cayenne to the Cajun seasoning I have Perfect winter meal for a cold day My little lady loved it A keeper recipe! Thanks Boca Pat!, Enjoyed this dish Increased the beef 1/4 lb & cut the cabbage 1 c & rice 1/4 c Substituted some leftover sweet & sour sauce I had for the tomatoes/sauce so I didn’t add the sugar Right balance for us & next time I will probably abit abit of italian sausage Tasty recipe, thanks for sharing
