Cake Mix Cookies

Features:
    Cuisine:

used a devils food cake mix, salted caramel chips and pecans. I did have to add some water as the mix seemed a bit dry. The cookies were super good, not too cakey more like a cross between a cookie and a brownie. I also only cooked them for 7 minutes. Thanks for a quick dessert!

Cake Mix Cookies,This recipe is very easy to put together and takes practically no time to make. Try other flavors of cake mixes if you like. When I make them, use 2 cups (total) of peanut butter chips and chocolate chips mixed together. Very easy to whip up at halftime!,used a devils food cake mix, salted caramel chips and pecans. I did have to add some water as the mix seemed a bit dry. The cookies were super good, not too cakey more like a cross between a cookie and a brownie. I also only cooked them for 7 minutes. Thanks for a quick dessert!,What a blast from the past. Many years ago, I was in the Panama Canal Zone working at a hospital and needed to come up with a batch of cookies. All I had was a box of Devil’s Food cake mix, mini choc chips and some walnuts. I added 2 eggs, 1/4 c oil and 1/4 cup water. Saw that it was the right texture. Added 1 c mini chips and 1/2 c finely chopped nuts. I always bake my cookies on parchment paper and easily remove them from the hot pan after they come out of the oven by slipping them onto the counter so they don’t over cook. It was an easy treat with simple ingredients. Thanks for reminding me of an old memory.
