Candied Walnuts

    I tweaked using brown sugar and it still did not turn out. Butter should be done first and then carmelize the sugar. I also added a little bit of coarse salt on top. I had lost my grandmothers recipe for burnt brown sugar nuts and was hoping this would help in a step in that directions. Disappointed and maybe will try in a different order and lots of tweaks.

    In a Heavy Bottom Pan Heat to Medium High Heat.

    Place Nuts and Butter, When Butter Is Melted and Nuts Are Coated With the Butter Sprinkle Sugar and Cinnamon If Wanted Over Nuts Stirring Till Carmelized.

    Pour Out on Parchment Paper Separate Nuts and Cool.
