Cheddar Pennies,These are delicious little cheese bites that are great warm from the oven but also taste good at room temperature. Makes a great appetizer or snack.,I loved these right out of the oven – yummy! I had to stop myself from eating more since I made these for the kid’s after school snack. To my surprise they did not like them as much as I did but they thought they were ok. That’s fine though, all the more for me. Next time, I will double the recipe and add a bit of garlic to half the batch. As suggested by another reviewer, definitely need to drain on paper towels. Thx Karen for the delicious and simple snack.,I really enjoyed this light crisp snack. I took these to a small gathering and everyone liked it. I do recommend 2 things. 1) Make a double batch 🙂 2) Drain the pennies on paper towels after baking.

Cream Butter Until Soft and Stir in the Remaining Ingredients. |

Transfer to a Lightly Floured Surface and Shape Into a 1 1/4" Diameter Log. |
