Cheese And Sausage Breakfast Casserole,Excellent! May be prepared a day ahead, and chilled. Just bake in the morning.,I made this with three kinds of cheese, Mozzarella, cheddar and Parmesan on top. I also layered the dish with gluten free tortillas only because my daughter wanted a “crust” and she is gluten free. Too lazy on a Sunday night to make a crust or anything so tortilla’s it is. I just layered them in the 9 x 13 that I was going to put everything in and baked them till toasty brown (sprayed with Pam cooking spray). While those were getting crispy I threw in a pan of tots that I later smashed with my potato masher . First a layer of mozzarella cheese and ham, then the eggs, the next layer was the smashed tator tots with a layer of cheddar cheese and finally Parmesan cheese on top of that. Not sure if it is still five points per serving with the tortillas in there. It was good.,Really great. Made per recipe with sage sausage. Cooked up the sausage and cubed the bread ahead. Made evening preparation during the holidays really easy. Chilled overnight and popped it in the oven (even while the oven was heating up). This was a big hit! Thanks.
