Cheesy Beef Taco Skillet, I really like recipes that are short, simple, easy, quick, and most of all tasty! This is definitly a good one!, Use tomato sauce instead of juice., Instead of adding the corn tortillas into the skillet while cooking, I decided to crisp/toast the corn tortillas. used a small can of tomato sauce and a few pieces of fresh/canned/stewed tomatoes with some of the juice. Oh wow. I can’t always do salsa or something super spicy but used a quarter to a half of a packet of regular Taco Seasoning. It tasted even better. The tomato soup was a great base. I grasped onto the suggestion that peas would have been good in the dish to compliment the corn and tomato tastes. My boyfriend who thought this was an awesome recipe suggested the adding of peas. Overall a GREAT tasting recipe that can easily be adapted to anyone’s preferences and diets.
