Cherry Cookies,I found this recipe in my Great Grandmothers Recipe Box, per a recipe request.,They came good, they were definitely too soft to roll into balls I suppose I could have refrigerated at first and then tried it the first dozen I made according to the recipe and then I added walnuts and chocolate chips to the second batch of them and they definitely have to be cooled completely before you attempt to eat them cuz they’re quite crumbly when they come out of the oven. It also took me 20 minutes to bake instead of 15 at 375.,Delicious and colorful addition to my gift Christmas cookie tins this year. My family wolfed them down and had to make more. Based on other reviews, I reduced the flour to about 2 cups+ 1 heaping tablespoon flour, substituted vanilla with 1/2 tsp. Almond extract and 1/2 tsp cherry juice. They are little melt in your mouth cherry bombs.
