Directions
Cherry Ricotta Casserole, This is a very yummy and easy to make warm dessert, which can be served as a main dish as well The batter resembles a cheesecake, but is not as solid Accompany with vanilla ice-cream or custard for that extra twist =) This recipe comes from a famous German chef called Tim Mlzer, who is sometimes referred to as the German Jamie Oliver I only substituted cherries for the gooseberries he uses , Believe it or not, my first 3 ‘birthday cakes’ that I can remember were actually cherry pies, so cherries are a particular favorite of mine! I really enjoyed both making & eating this dessert ~ ABSOLUTELY GREAT in every way! I did use canned cherries but now want to try it at the peak of the cherry season with great-tasting fresh ones! I served this with some frozen vanilla yogurt ~ WONDERFUL! Thanks for sharing such a great recipe! [Tagged, made & reviewed for one ofmy Vegetarian swapmates in the Vegetarian/Vegan Recipe Swap #7]
