Cherry Vanilla Oatmeal

This is a great new way for our family to enjoy oatmeal. I made this tonight as part of our "brinner" (Breakfast for Dinner) weekly rotation. I doubled this and the outcome was good, so upping this recipe works. I really loved it, but my husband and kids thought it needed sugar. Also, I actually should have tripled this recipe for 5 people. The servings are very small. For those two reasons I gave this recipe 4 stars. Thanks for the new take on a breakfast staple stuff.llc.

Cherry Vanilla Oatmeal,From foodnetwork.com Copyright Ellie Krieger, All rights reserved I like to use the old fashioned oats that take 30 minutes to cook. I usually make a lot and then separate it into servings and grab them for breakfasts throughout the week.,This is a great new way for our family to enjoy oatmeal. YUM!used canned cherries and cooked the oatmeal in part of their juice. That turned out very pink and nice. :)THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this recipe with us, Chef!Made and reviewed for Think Pink October 2012.
