Chewy Vegan Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies, These are brownie-like and chewy Be careful not to overbake them, they may seem like they aren’t done after 10 minutes but they are! See the variations for Chewy Chocolate Cherry Cookies and Chocolate Hazelnut (or almond or walnut or whatever) Cookies at the bottom of the directions Recipe from the Post Punk Kitchen (www thePPK com) and accredited to Isa , I started making these and was also appalled by the 2 cups of sugar so looked through some reviews to see if people had modified, and decided to halve the sugar and used 1/2 cup of oil and 1/4 cup of apple sauce I only added 1 cup of chocolate chips and replaced the last half cup with walnuts These turned out nice and definitely sweet enough with the 1 cup of sugar They did not spread very much for me, but had a nice crispy top somewhat like a brownie It has a dense cakey flavour I made 6 and froze the rest in balls so hopefully will bake well from the freezer!

Preheat Oven to 350f. |

Grind Flax Seeds in a Blender Until They Become a Fine Powder, Then Add the Soy Milk and Blend For About 30 Seconds More and Set Aside. |
