Chex Mix My Way,use Crispex cereal because it both rice and corn Chex so I only have to buy one box to make the mix. I also have increased the ‘sauce’ by about 50% compared to the original Chex Mix recipe for a little added zip. We have come to prefer double seasoning. Those amounts are in the parenthesis.,Adding 1/2 teaspoon each of garlic and onion POWDER gives it a little more depth of flavor. DON’T make the same mistake I made the first time and use garlic and onion SALT. Flavor was great, but on the salty side. (And I like salty so that’s saying something!),This has terrific flavor! used the “extra sauce” recipe and Crispix and it came out great. I thought the idea of adding some garlic and onion powder sounded like a good idea, but what I had was garlic and onion salt. used them anyway, but the mix came out on the salty side. No stars off for that, though, because that’s completely on me. Next time I will use the powder forms, since I do think the flavor is right on. Thanks for posting!

Pour Butter Mixture Over Cereal Mixture Stirring Constantly to Coat. |

Place in Preheated 250f Oven and Bake For 1 Hour, Stirring Every 15 Minutes. |
