    This was delicious. It is pretty much the way I make my red sauce anyway; the red wine gives it such a rich flavor. We had our daughter and SIL over for this, and they are on some weird KETO thing, so they ate theirs over spinach salad. huh?!? But hubby and I had ours over Cheesy Polenta, and it was fabulous! used chicken thighs, a nice Shiraz, more garlic, and the kids put cheese on theirs, but it was not necessary for us! The meat was very tender and moist. This is a keeper! Thanks, Lauralie . I wish I had a picture, but it was dished up so fast and I forgot!

My picture isn’t all that great, and doesn’t do this recipe justice. This dish is really easy to prepare, and all the classic Italian ingredients contribute well to the dish’s overall flavor base.     Lay Chicken Pieces Out and Sprinkle With Salt and Pepper. in a Skillet With Hot Oil Brown Chicken on Both Sides. Remove from the Skillet and Set Aside.

    to the Same Skillet Add Onion and Garlic and Saute. Stir in the Tomatoes, Tomato Paste, Chicken Broth, Oregano and Basil. Add Browned Chicken to the Mixture and Simmer For 45 Minutes. Add Mushrooms and Wine and Simmer For Another Twenty Minutes.

    in a Large Pot Cook Pasta According to Package Directions. Drain the Pasta Well. Serve Chicken and Sauce Over Hot Pasta.
