Chili Sauce

Features:
    Cuisine:

This, like a lot of Todd Wilbur's "Top Secret Recipes" (imho) is just ridiculously wrong. Why? There ain't no chiles in it. And yes, on the label, it DOES allow for them - it says both "spice" and "natural flavor", and under FDA regs that lets them put chile powder in there. Oh, and taking a look on Amazon at the labeling: there's a PICTURE of a bowl of tomatoes with some garlic and peppers, and the phrase "made with ripened tomatoes, garlic, and sweet peppers". So unless the 5th largest food company in the world is blatantly Doing Crimes by lying about what's in their chili sauce - there's chiles in it.

Chili Sauce, This chili sauce is great on hot dogs , Having a surplus of wonderful green chili peppers I decided to make my own chili sauce As DH likes it sweet and sour this one seemed to be perfect and so it was used 6 chilis per batch and made two batches Excellent recipe, thanks for sharing!, About 3 years ago I canned Chili Sauce with my father-in-law at my husbands request No one can make it like Dad was all I heard When we ran out – we didn’t have the recipe and frankly Dad’s up in age so I thought I’d check here This seemed about right to me – and boy was it ever! This is just perfect for what we Northers consider a Chili Sauce! We eat this on everything from eggs to Italian sausage! Great combination of sweet and sour! This recipe yielded 12 pint jars Thanks for the family recipe Tim!
