Bean Pate, This is a wonderful vegetarian recipe that is wonderful served with warm pita bread or Toast Cook time is only time to chill; there is no cooking in this recipe , this recipe is really lovely i modified this slightly because i didnt have any scallions but added 1 dessetspoon (10mls) of tahini paste which thickened the mixture but added its own lovely sesame taste I am just soaking some dried beans so i can make another batch tomorrow, this is good! used a mixed can of beans and the only thing I did different is used a small can of mild jalepeno diced peppers and added 2 cloves minced garlic this gave it a mexican flare and I served it as a side with burritos We scooped it up with nacho chips, , , mmmmmm very good
