Chinese Restaurant Style Sweet and Sour Chicken, Soaking the chicken in the marinade makes the chicken so tender and moist. I hope that your family enjoys this dish as much as mine., This recipe was great only thing is batter was too thick, but was easy to fix by adding a little water. and for the sauce loved it i just added a chopped green pepper, tomato and pinneapple like the restaurants. This went great with chinese fried rice ( not hard at all). Yummmy :), The chicken tasted lovely but don’t know if there’s an ingredient missing in the batter…was un dipable..so I added more water and then got almost a pancake like texture..bit messy..sauce needed something to make it sweet or sour..will make this again without batter and using a different sauce.
