Chinese Sweet & Sour Pork, This is easy and delicious. Great Chinese take-out. Serve on a bed of rice., This recipe was very easy to make and the finished product was delicious. The pork tasted wonderful although I think my wife came home with pork butt as opposed to shoulder but it was still good. My only recommendation would be to add more veggies to the bamboo, pepper and green onions., Good, Solid Entree for a Chinese themed dinner or just when the urge for Chinese food strikes. Using a wok works best but a frying pan on very high heat works as well. This is a quick and easy dish that I served over rice along with egg rolls, a salad and fortune cookies I got at the store. Would definitely make again and again!! Thanks!!

In a Bowl Mix Salt, Rice Wine or Sherry and Egg. Stir in Pork to Evenly Coat. Remove Pork and Roll in Cornstarch to Coat Evenly. in a Wok, Heat Peanut Oil Until Hot, Deep Fry Pork 5 Minutes Until Crispy. Use a Slotted Spoon to Remove Pork from Oil, Drain Pork on Paper Towels. |
