Chocolate Chip Cookies,This is the chocolate chip cookie recipe I’ve been using ever since I was given the recipe by a friend at work, who is an excellent baker! My kids love these cookies and request that I make them often!,The texture of these cookies was perfect. I think I would do as others have suggested and use butter flavored shortening. The flavor needed that added bit of richness.,I chose this recipe because it had a 5 star rating. For 60 years, I’ve baked chocolate chip cookies and this recipe is the last one I ever try. It is 5 star! I don’t ever want to lose it. Yum ??
