It is great served with scoops of vanilla or butter pecan ice cream….and if you want to truly indulge, top the ice cream with some hot fudge!,is the entry in recipe of 1 tablespoon of baking powder correct? That seems excessive since the other ingredients measurements seem appropriate for a single layer cookie/cake,I followed the recipe exactly and took the pie out of the oven at thirty five minutes. It was perfection. And, trust me, I have made several variations on the Toll House cookie pie, but this one is the best. It had a nice chewy texture, and what seemed like an overall caramelized taste along with plenty of chocolate chips in each bite. A winning recipe.
