Chocolate Chip Scones,My husband made these for me for breakfast today. They were very good! One of the things I like about them is that they have a good chocolate flavor without being too-too-chocolatey! They are very light, too. Goes nicely with morning coffee. You can make the glaze ahead of time if you like. Just warm it up before using until it is a good consistency. You can do this in either the microwave or on the stovetop.,These are fabulous! I omitted the egg wash because I didn’t have any eggs and I poured the chocolate glaze over the scones as soon as they came out of the oven. I had two excited kids waiting for them so cooling them completely before adding the glaze just was not going to happen. They were delicious right out of the oven with the gooey warm chocolate glaze! They were easy, quick, and delicious and I will be making them again!
