    The recipe worked out great! The top didn't really carmelize using the broiler, so I will buy a kitchen torch for that. Even so, if you use the broiler or not at all, the sugar topping adds a nice granulated texture and sweetness to the top. Highly recommend. The custard's texture and flavor turned out exactly as I wanted, and the chocolate custard wasn't too chocolaty.

    For Custard: Place Cream in Heavy, Medium Saucepan.

    Bring to Simmer and Remove from Heat.

    Whisk Egg Yolks and Sugar in Medium Bowl to Blend.

    Let Cool to Room Temperature, Stirring Occasionally, About 15-20 Minutes.

    Position Rack in Center of Oven and Preheat to 300f.
