Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Cookies,These are an elegant addition to a Christmas cookie plate.,I plan on making these for upcoming Christmas parties. I am curious if this is a dough that can be chilled than rolled out and cut into shapes? Thank you.,These are delicious! They remind me of Walker shortbread, so simple, but oh-so-good. I didn’t even get to dip them in chocolate, but I suspect there won’t be much left by the time I get home. I made the little balls, placed them in the baking sheet, flattened them with the fleshy part of my palm, and used the bottom of a glass to get them nice and smooth (although my edges weren’t perfect). I even shaped some into hearts too – with my hands… The dough is much too soft for cookie cutters. These have endless possibilities – shapes, flavors, dippings, toppings, etc. Thanks for sharing!
