Chow Mein Chicken Salad

Features:
  • Gluten Free
Cuisine:

I love Chinese chicken salad!! This yummy salad was whipped together in a hurry. used a rotisserie chicken for the meat and I added some shredded cabbage to some romaine lettuce. Also, I changed up the dressing a little to give it a more Asian flair. I increased the vinegar to 3 TBSP and added: a clove of minced garlic, 1 tsp. of sesame oil, and 1 TBSP soy sauce. I added the chow mein noodles and the dressing to individual bowls instead of adding to the whole salad. I didn't want the noodles to get soggy or the salad to wilt in case we had leftovers. Delicious!! I didn't have to worry about leftovers because we devoured the whole salad. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe! **Made for 2013 Football Pool**
