Directions
Cinnamon Pears in Apple Juice-Canning,A healthy way to can pears. This can be used for people on restricted diets. Adapted from the Ball Blue Book of Canning.,Very easy! I added some vanilla extract to the apple juice. It was excellent & the house smelled fabulous!,I made a few jars of these last summer and loved them! This summer I am planning on canning many more than that. I didn’t have cinnamon sticks so I just sprinkled in a little ground cinnamon with the apple juice. Super easy and delicious!

Peel Pears, and Cut Into Halves and Core. |

Treat to Prevent Darkening(i Submerge Them in Lemon Juice and a Little Water). |

Drain; Rinse and Drain Again. |

Cook Pears in Water One Layer at a Time Until Hot Throughout. |

Remove Air Bubbles(i Do This With a Knife). |
