“Tomato,This recipe became popular during the late 30’s. A one-dish meal that is sure to please your family today as well! From the American Century Cookbook.,Very tasty. I changed a bit based on what we had on hand. Thin chops seasoned with garlic salt and pepper and some leftover spaghetti sauce to which I added chopped fresh tomatoes. Since nearly all the ingredients were warm, I cut cooking time by about 10 minutes and it came out moist and hot.,This recipe reminded me of one I have before. I couldn’t find my recipe so used this one. Only problem is that the taste is flat. Needs spice other than salt and pepper. As I am not creative and always use recipes I wasn’t quite sure of which ones to add. As other suggested I would have added garlic had I checked the feedback sooner. A dash of garlic salt wasn’t quite enough. Could be a 5 star recipe.
