    I was going to make this recipe as written but decided it would make more dip than I needed so I only put in 8 ounces of shredded cheddar. I didn't measure the mayonnaise and it was more like a spread for crackers than a dip. It was delicious and everyone requested the recipe.

    Dump Dip, This is a deliciously different type of dip Thicker than most This recipe comes from a cookbook Favorites from Christian Academy of Greater St Louis Published around 1986 I think Add less or more mayonnaise to suit your taste , I was going to make this recipe as written but decided it would make more dip than I needed so I only put in 8 ounces of shredded cheddar I didn’t measure the mayonnaise and it was more like a spread for crackers than a dip It was delicious and everyone requested the recipe , This excellent dip was a huge hit at our Happy Hour The bacon gave it a great hearty flavor that will surely please everyone I made it in the morning to allow the flavors to meld Thanks again, Baby Chevelle, for another great recipe
