Cleaning Silver,A few household items that amazling cleans silver. I had a badly tarnished dish that these few items cleaned right up.,I literally saw this with my own eyes and I still can’t quite believe it. Six pieces of VERY tarnished silver cleaned in under 30 minutes. No effort rubbing either. I lined a silver BBQ tray with the foil as I had large pieces. used more water as well, up to six cups and didn’t add any more salt or bi-carb, still worked a treat. Now what to do with the rest of my morning. I have washed them very well so they don’t pit as the instructions said and two minutes was plenty of time in the solution. I did have to turn them about to get it all in the mixture.,DO NOT USE THIS METHOD! I put Tiffany sterling salt cellars and spoons in the concoction for only five minutes and it turned the inside of the cellars black. Not only did it not remove the tarnish, it damaged my pieces. Spend the money for a quality silver polish.
